WHAT CAN WE EXPECT AT A SPLASH AQUA SHOOT?

Well, first, you should expect to have some fun. To get the best out of a session with us we need to make sure we record all the lovely interactions between your family so we aim to get you to enjoy the swim and spend some fun time with your kids. There WILL be rubber ducks, funny faces, silly songs and perhaps raspberry blowing (available on request).

We always have two professional photographers and one of them (usually the one in the pool) will be a qualified swim instructor.

COOL POOLSIDES

We start of with some ‘poolsides’, swish your little ones around in the water and blow bubbles, have a good splash. we’ll record some candid photos and then go for some very gentle ‘posing’ which is actually much more like structured playing with pool toys in a way that brings out some lovely images of you interacting as naturally as possible.

CAPTURING FUNDERWATER IMAGES

Once your poolsides have been captured, we send you off to the Funderwater team for some submersions. We normally expect around three submersions depending on how happy little one is. The fully trained instructor will ensure your child is safe and happy throughout.

ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW?

If your child is unwell, please cancel your shoot, also, please ensure you follow instructions regarding use of swim nappies and happy nappies for little ones who are not yet toilet trained. An unexpected poo will mean a cancellation for everyone! Also, please try to avoid feeding your child immediately before the shoot as we’d prefer to avoid any leakages from the top end as well as the bottom!

WHAT WILL WE GET?

After around ten working days, you’ll be given access to a private password protected gallery. We normally expect 3 to 6 underwater images and around 10 to 15 surface images depending on how well the shoot went for your child. Image prices start at £25.
